Legal & Compliance
Consumer obligations belong to the merchant. Kayroo only provides the software.
Kayroo is a software-as-a-service provider. It is not a seller and is not a party to any purchase made on a merchant store. The seller is the merchant, who is solely responsible for the product, pricing, delivery, returns, refunds, after-sales service and compliance with consumer-protection law (Algerian Law No. 09-03).
The points below describe obligations each merchant must meet toward their own customers. Kayroo simply provides tools that help merchants comply — it does not assume any of these obligations.
Under Law No. 09-03, the merchant must give buyers clear information on the product, the total price all-taxes-included, delivery terms and the seller's identity before the order is confirmed.
Kayroo provides a returns workflow that merchants may use to offer a withdrawal period and process refunds or replacements. Whether, when and how returns are accepted is the merchant's decision and responsibility, published in the merchant's own store policy.
Most Algerian stores use Cash on Delivery. Payment is collected by or for the merchant on delivery; Kayroo does not collect, process or store any payment card data for these orders.
Buyers must contact the merchant store directly for anything concerning a product, order, delivery, return or refund — Kayroo cannot and does not resolve such disputes. Unresolved complaints may be escalated to the relevant Algerian consumer-protection authorities against the merchant.
